§ 01The promise

Talon Defense Works warrants every Talon suppressor to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the product. If we determine that it has a covered defect, we repair it or replace it at no charge, other than shipping. You pay the shipping to us and back. Built and backed in Meadville, Pennsylvania.

§ 02What is covered

• Defects in materials, including the 17-4 PH stainless or Grade-5 titanium components.
• Defects in workmanship, including machining, laser welds, and finish application.
• Failure of the mount interface or thread adapters supplied by Talon under normal use.
• Coverage runs for the life of the product while owned by the original purchaser.

§ 03What is not covered

• Normal wear, including erosion of the blast baffle from round count.
• Cosmetic wear to the finish.
• Misuse, negligence, or lack of proper maintenance.
• Improper installation, including the wrong bore, adapter, or thread pitch for the host.
• Baffle strikes from improper mounting, barrel alignment, or third-party mounts and devices.
• Damage from non-standard, reloaded, or defective ammunition.
• Any repair, modification, or disassembly beyond user maintenance described in the manual. Unauthorized work voids the warranty.
• Loss, theft, or damage in transit outside our control.

§ 04How to make a claim

Email support@talondefenseworks.com with the serial number, where and when you bought it, a description of the problem, and photos. A person in Meadville answers with return instructions. Do not ship a suppressor to us until we tell you how: an NFA item returning to its manufacturer for repair does not require a new transfer, but it has to travel the right way. All federal, state, and local laws on transporting NFA items apply.

§ 05Repair, replace, and serial numbers

We decide whether to repair or replace. A repaired suppressor keeps its serial number. If we replace it, the replacement carries a new serial number and may require a new ATF Form 4 through your dealer.

§ 06Legal limitations

This warranty is your exclusive remedy for a defective product. Talon is not liable for incidental or consequential damages, including damage to the host firearm from a covered defect, to the extent the law allows. Some states do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so that limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.

§ 07Registering your suppressor

Registration is optional and does not affect coverage. If you bought online, your order is your registration. Otherwise, write the serial number, purchase date, and dealer in the back of your product manual, and keep your receipt.
