§ 01Eligibility

The Talon Defense Works Giveaway (the "Giveaway") is sponsored by Talon Defense Works, LLC, 7799 McHenry Street, Meadville, PA 16335 ("Talon Defense Works"). The Giveaway is open only to legal residents of the United States who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry and who do not reside in a state or jurisdiction that prohibits civilian possession of suppressors (as of the date of these rules: California, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, and the District of Columbia). Employees of Talon Defense Works, its affiliated companies, and members of their immediate families and households are not eligible to participate.

§ 02Compliance with firearm laws (NFA laws)

The prize is a firearm suppressor. Prize: one (1) Talon Defense Works suppressor. Approximate retail value: $850 to $950, depending on model. The winner is chosen by judging, not by chance. The prize is not transferable, and no cash or other substitution is allowed. Winning is contingent upon the selected individual fulfilling all federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.

• The winner must be legally permitted to possess a firearm and a National Firearms Act (NFA) regulated item.
• The winner is responsible for completing all required paperwork (e.g., ATF Form 4) and passing the necessary background checks that federal, state, and local law, Talon Defense Works, or the transferring dealer require at the time of transfer. The prize will be transferred only through Talon Defense Works or a federally licensed dealer in the winner's state of residence, as the law allows. The winner may not take possession until the transfer is lawfully complete.
• Fees: Talon Defense Works will provide the suppressor, but the winner is responsible for the cost of shipping the prize to the transferring dealer, any local dealer transfer fees, and any applicable taxes, including all federal, state, and local taxes on the prize. The winner must provide a completed IRS Form W-9 if Talon Defense Works requests one.
• If the winner fails the background check, a required transfer application is disapproved, the winner resides in a state where suppressors are illegal, or is otherwise legally unable to take possession of the prize under federal, state, or local law, the prize will be forfeited, and an alternate winner will be selected: the eligible entry with the next-highest score.

§ 03Giveaway period

Entries will be accepted from October 17, 2026, at 10:00 AM ET. All entries must be posted and tagged by Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 11:59 PM ET after the event wraps up (the "Entry Period").

§ 04How to enter

• Step 1: Record a video shooting a Talon Defense Works suppressor at our Suppressed Fest shooting lane or at any other place where you may safely and legally shoot.
• Step 2: Upload the video to your Instagram account as an Instagram Reel. Include #TalonGiveaway in the caption. Do not use Instagram's paid partnership label.
• Step 3: Tag our official handle @TALONDEFENSE so we can see it and enter your username into the contest.
• Public Accounts: All participants’ Instagram accounts must be set to Public from the time of entry until the winner has been selected. An entry from an account that is set to Private at any time during that period does not qualify.

§ 05Winner selection and notification

The winner will be selected by Talon Defense Works judges from all eligible entries received. The judges will score each entry on how well it shows the suppressor in use (40%), creativity (30%), and audience response, measured by the likes and shares shown on the Reel when the Entry Period ends (30%). The highest score wins. A tie goes to the entry with the higher score for showing the suppressor in use. Purchased or automated likes or shares disqualify an entry. The winner will be notified via Instagram Direct Message (DM) from our official account within seven (7) days after the Entry Period ends.

• Claim Period: The selected winner must respond to winner notification within 72 hours of the initial notification DM. If a winner fails to respond within this 72-hour window, the prize will be forfeited, and an alternate winner will be selected.
• Verification: Talon Defense Works understands that the subsequent ATF background check, any required NFA filing, and the transfer process may take longer. However, the winner must actively cooperate and initiate the required paperwork within thirty (30) days of claiming the prize. Before the prize is awarded, the winner must show government-issued photo identification and sign a declaration of eligibility and release.
• Public Announcement: Once the winner has been verified, Talon Defense Works will make an official announcement post on our Instagram page.
• Non-Winners: Out of respect for the volume of entries, individual notifications will not be sent to participants who were not selected. However, we are happy to confirm contest status via Instagram DM upon direct request.

§ 06Publicity release

By entering this Giveaway, each participant grants Talon Defense Works the absolute right and permission to use, publish, broadcast, and post their submitted video entry, Instagram username, likeness, and name for advertising, marketing, and promotional purposes across all social media platforms without further compensation or review. Each participant confirms that the video is their own work and that every person who appears in it has agreed to its use.

§ 07Limitation of liability & disclaimer

By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Talon Defense Works, its affiliated companies, NFA Review Channel, LLC (the organizer of Suppressed Fest), the owner and operator of the event venue, and Meta Platforms, Inc. (Instagram) from any and all liability, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind resulting from participation in the Giveaway, including any shooting activity, or from acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of the prize. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram/Meta, NFA Review Channel, LLC, or the event venue. Talon Defense Works, LLC is the sole sponsor. Talon Defense Works will never ask for credit card information, bank details, or registration fees via social media to claim a prize. Please be aware of potential lookalike/copycat scam accounts.

§ 08General conditions

Talon Defense Works may disqualify any entry that is incomplete, late, submitted from a fake or duplicate account, or submitted by a person who does not meet the eligibility requirements. Talon Defense Works may cancel, suspend, or modify the Giveaway if fraud, technical failure, or any cause beyond its control prevents the Giveaway from running as planned. These rules are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
